Beltless and Lost

So, here's the thing.  Due to my crazy schedule, I take outfit pictures the day before I am going to wear a particular outfit.  For example, I (meaning my husband) took these pictures last night and I am wearing this outfit today.  Okay, so there's the back story.

Here's a little more back story.  Last week, we got a new cell phone.  Our old cell phone's battery had about had it and it was cheaper to get a free phone than it was to buy a new battery.  Crazy, right?  Well, I use the cell phone as an alarm in the morning.  ... ahem.  Correction: I use the cell phone as three alarms in the morning.  That's right.  I have three alarms on my cell phone (and two on my actual alarm clock) to wake me up in the morning.  And even with all that (and the new cell phone's alarm is a rooster crowing!!), I still over slept this morning.  I blame the cold weather.  It's so much easier to stay under the covers when it's cold outside.

All that to say that in the rush of getting ready this morning, I forgot my belt.  So, today, I'm beltless and lost.

  1. This outfit is cute! I'm sure it looked just as good even without the belt :)

I hit snooze on my alarm at least 3 times each morning... sometimes I even turn it off completely and wake up in a panic an hour later... maybe I need to start setting 3 different alarms!

    1. Thanks :) Snooze is my best friend (and enemy) in the morning.

  2. I TOTALLY used to have alarms like that while I was teaching. It drove my poor husband (who didn't get up until about 2.5 hours after me) CRAZY! But, it worked for me. Sorry that you forgot your belt! You know what though, those tops fit you so well that you probably look great even without the belt :)

    1. Exactly how I feel! I don't feel like my 30 for 30 has been entirely ground-breaking for me, but it has expanded my brain just a bit and made me think about combining things that I would have otherwise never put together.
