The Eleventh Outfit

Top:  LOFT, gifted
Sweater:  New York & Company
Belt:  thrifted
Pants:  To The Max, thrifted
Shoes:  Merona
Necklace: old, from J.C. Penney

I've made it past the first third of the 30 for 30 and I can already feel it wearing on me.  I'm pretty sure I didn't pick enough patterns/different styles.  My eyes are wandering to the other clothes in my closet.  While I was getting dressed, my motive was to get in/get out fast.  Just pick some stuff, put it together, and wear it.  And so was born these little ensemble.  It's not that different from an outfit I wore last week, but honestly I don't usually put colors like these together.

p.s.  I forgot to mention that I switched out one item.  I replaced my black, thrifted Merona dress with the frilly sheer blouse that I wore on Valentine's Day.  The dress just wasn't working.  It either needs a minor alteration or I need to buy a Spanx.

  1. I like this look! The layers on top are cute without looking like you tried too hard and the belt adds a fun touch :)

  2. Wow, thanks for that! That's actually one of my goals when I get dressed - I don't want to look like I tried too hard.

  4. I think you're doing great! I feel like you 30x30 is going so fast (easy for me to say since I'm not doing it I guess). I really like the look of this cardigan and button-down together.
