These shoes ain't made for walkin'

Top:  Banana Republic (old) (Similar) /  Skirt:  Thrifted vintage (Similar)  /  Belt: From a shirt  /  Shoes:  XAppeal  (Similar)

Oh, you guys.  These shoes KILL my feet.  I only wear them once a year now, so of course this outfit had to make it to the blog.  They've had their yearly outing and now they're back in the box.

Do you have shoes like that?  That hurt your feet but look too good to get rid of?

Tell me I'm not the only one!

  1. I did for the longest time have a pair from Aldo with the straps around the ankles that felt like they were strangling my feet but I LOVED them. I finally wised up and packed them on but I should have taken a picture first!

    1. My husband teases me mercilessly about how 'all' my shoes aren't made for walkin'! He was right about these... and the ones I wore the other day....

  2. That thrifted skirt is beautiful! That stinks that those shoes are uncomfortable because they are definitely cute! I have a few pairs of shoes like that, and I really only wear them when I know I'll be sitting most of the day :D

    1. Thanks! I love them dearly. I do the same thing -- I wear them when I can sit most of the day.

  3. I recently just got a pair of wedges that apparently don't fit.. They don't hurt, but my feet slip out of them and I almost fall over about every other step. I tried them on in the store and they seemed fine, so I don't know WHAT the deal is. But they're SO cute! I wore them to church on Sunday and looked ridiculous. So while I'm not in pain while I wear them, I think I know how you feel :)

Love love LOVE this outfit by the way! GREAT pattern mixing skills!

    1. Aw, thank you :)

I have shoes that are comfortable but just don't work, too! I recently wore a new pair of kitten heel pointy-toe pumps to work and I slipped twice in them!! It was crazy. Needless to say, they're in the garage sale pile now.
