A Conundrum

Top:   JCPenney, gifted  /  Pants:  LOFT, gifted  /  Shoes:  Thrifted  /  Belt:  Came with a shirt

Y'all.  I have no idea what to do with this shirt.  I love it.  It fits well.  But, what to do?  I've paired it with white capris and now with these polished denim LOFT pants.  But something just .... doesn't look right.  Is it just me?

I might have to do my usual stand-by -- tuck it into a high-waisted skirt and put on some flats.

And here's a similar look:

  1. My knee jerk reaction was "take off the belt" and then I saw the similar outfit you posted, which has the belt on the jeans rather than at the natural waist, so yep I am going to say move the belt and see if that helps. :-)

    1. Oh, that's smart! And it didn't even hit me. I will try that sometime.

  2. I have shirts with similar shapes that I struggle with styling too. I think tucked into a skirt with some cute sandals would be perfect for summer, and with some skinny jeans and a blazer for fall. It's really cute! I love the soft print.

    1. Under a blazer! Why didn't I think of that? I will definitely try that in the fall.

      Thanks :)

    1. Thank you! I think it's settled -- put it under something in the fall!
