FOTD: Pink and Gray/Taupe

I've never really done a proper face of the day, mostly because I don't care to photograph my face so up close.  Well, yesterday I took a little extra time to do my makeup as the hubs and I were going out to eat and see a movie.  Here's what I used.  (This is more for me to remember than for anyone to care about my well-plastered mug)

Face:
Smashbox Photofinish Primer
Revlon Age-Defying DNA Advantage Foundation
Mary Kay Concealer
Garnier Anti Dark Circle Eye Roller
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Sheer Highlighting Blush
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

Eyes:
Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Tough as Taupe
Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Lilac Truffle (just the brown-taupe)
Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte in Slate
Urban Decay Naked Palette, Virgin and Naked
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Royal Blue
Maybelline Great Lash BIG Mascara in Blackest Black

Lips:
Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Woppin' Watermelon
Jouer Lip Enhancer

Brushes:
Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Flat Top Multipurpose Brush
EcoTools Eyeshadow Brush  (they don't make it anymore!)
E.L.F. Powder Brush
Urban Decay Good Karma Shadow Brush

Geez, that's a lot of stuff.  I didn't realize I used so many products.  To be honest, I never sit down to do my makeup very well. It's mostly a do-it-on-the-fly kind of thing, so maybe I don't use this much every day.  I never really pay attention to it!

  2. Very pretty! Love the soft lip color. I bet if I wrote out everything I use when I 'properly' get ready, I'd be shocked too by all the items. Most days though it's just tinted moisturizer, mascara, and lip balm :D

    1. Thank you!

I think it's better to keep things simple most days. I definitely can't imagine spending a lot of time every day to get ready.
