Summer Edition Remix 15:30

Top and necklace purchased with giveaway gift card, Pants-gifted, Blazer and shoes-thrifted

Oh, rain!  You do make things like photographing outfits difficult.

Talk to me about shoulder pads in blazers.  Yay or nay?  I want to rip them out but I've heard that they give the blazer structure (of course), and isn't that the point of a blazer?  The shoulder pads kind of make me feel like I've stepped back into the 80's, though...

Give me your opinions!

  1. Usually, I say NAY to shoulder pads. But from what I can tell in these photos, they look great in this blazer. I think you're right, they provide the perfect amount of structure :)

  2. i say rip 'em out! but i have widish shoulders, and putting pads on top of them makes me feel like a linebacker! seams across the top also add structure. but i agree with threads and buttons, they don't seem to be hurting this blazer... so now i'm on the fence. is that helpful?

    1. Haha! Actually, I don't have wide shoulders so maybe that's why this works for me. The thing that bugs me is feeling the shoulder pads on my shoulders. Sooo... I'm just a weirdo!
