The case of the perplexing cardigans

Dress: c/o eShakti  /  Shoes: Maripe

Please pardon my pale arms!  I have been perplexed by which cardigan to pair with this dress for work, so I had my husband take the picture anyway.  It's definitely not autumn-appropriate, but I love this dress!  In order to bring it through the cool months, I might pair this with a solid button-up and either tights/wedges or tights/boots.  What do you think?  Would you wear this dress with boots or booties?

I received this dress from eShakti and feel like I should bring up the manner in which I selected it.  eShakti offers customized clothing, wherein you input your measurements and they tailor the pieces to them.  When they contacted me about reviewing their products, the aspect of their shop that I absolutely wanted to try out was the customization feature.  (fyi, you can buy their clothes in ready-to-wear sizes or a customized size)  I went online and entered my measurements.  You can do further customizations (sleeve length, neckline, hemline), but I really, really liked this dress's silhouette already.

In the future, I would love to completely customize a dress and try out that aspect of their ordering.  When the dress arrived and I tried it on, I was blown away by how well it fits.  It feels so comfortable while maintaining a feminine appeal.  Also, it has pockets.  Icing on the cake, my friends!

As my husband said while taking these pictures, "Why don't all dresses have pockets?"  I don't know, dear.  I don't know.

Aaaand... it's Wednesday!  I'm linking up with Lindsey over on The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday.
