Gift Guide for the Working Girl
Scarf // Watch // Blazer // Wallet // Bag

The gift-giving season is upon us!  While the stores may seem holly and jolly, it can be quite stressful to select presents for your friends and family.  You want your gifts to be perfect, but you also don't want to break the bank.  I've put together a little gift guide for your working friends.  You can get the "Working Girl" look for less and save money at Sears.

For professionals, I focus on things that are easily styled or help keep her organized.  Think purses with lots of pockets, a wallet with sections for different items, neutral accessories, and clothing with classic lines.  To show the inspiration board in action, I've put an outfit together with these items.

I was immediately drawn in by the scarf.  You can't get a more stylish scarf for this price.  Because I am a Show Your Way Rewards member, I purchased this for $9.99.  I decided on a neutral black/white print with a pop of slate blue.  On some fashion blogs that feature work outfits, I've also noticed the "scarf tied to the hand bag" style, and that would be another awesome use for it!  It can easily be paired with many work outfits.

Another must for the Working Girl is a great purse.  This particular bag has a lot of organizational options on the inside.  The large interior section is divided in half, and there is a padded, velcroed section for a laptop.  There are also a couple small pockets for items like a cell phone and keys.  Perfect for a busy professional!

Next, I decided that a wallet would be another awesome present.  Personally, I'm on the perpetual hunt for a cute, functional, and organized wallet.  This wallet is all of those things!  The color that I actually purchased was not online, but the pewter version in the inspiration board is very close.  The main section is divided into coupons, receipts, and cash.  There are also a ton of card slots in the smaller section!

One thing that I can not live without, as a Working Girl, is a watch.  I love this style, because it has a classic and simple shape.  This will never go out of style.  The actual watch I purchased is pink, but it wasn't a color option online.  This rose gold/dark face is just as gorgeous.  Either way, I would go with a color that can be paired with many different colors.  For example, I wouldn't choose something like bright blue or bright green.

Last but not least, the ultimate gift for the Working Girl would be a blazer.  I knew this was the one to purchase when I saw it in the store.  It nips in at the waist, it's light weight, and the rounded hems are gorgeous.  In addition, the light weight fabric allows the sleeves to be rolled up a bit.  So, it's also versatile if you want to wear it during the warmer months.  You really can't beat the price, either.  Shop Your Way Rewards members can purchase it for $18.99.

I hope you enjoyed this inspiration.  I absolutely love buying gifts for my friends and loved ones, and I hope this helps you come up with the perfect presents!
