So, let's talk about Lent.  I don't usually give something up or make goals for this time of year.  But, my eating habits had gotten pretty bad right before Lent started.  I thought it would be a good idea to cut back on sweets and cut back my coffee intake to one cup a day.  That might not sound like much, but .... I usually take my lattes with three shots of espresso.  So, one cup a day was really cutting back.

Friends, it is hard to break bad habits.  Like, really hard.  I love sweets and I love coffee just as much.  I've actually done good with my coffee goal.  There have only been a couple days that I had more than one cup. But, the sweets goal is so hard!  Especially with Easter coming up.  It's like candy is everywhere ... staring at me, wanting me to eat it.

Okay, so it's not that dramatic.  But, it is hard.

Here's to 18 more days!  Hopefully I can continue my better habits after Easter.
