MAKEUP MONDAY: Body Care Routine

Body Care Routine 1

Since I updated my morning and evening skincare routines, I thought I'd continue on with body care!

I don't have a lot of body care essentials, but I do love what I use.

Body Care Routine 3

First up, tanning products!  I am about as pale as you can get without being translucent.  I love being pale, but sometimes I like to change things up and pretend I'm tan.

That's where these products come in.  I use the Jergen's Daily Moisturizer in both the lotion and foam versions.  They are very nice, gradual tanners.  You can use them every day without getting too dark.  The foam is easier to apply and less streaky.  The lotion is very moisturizing and my skin looks healthy and hydrated when I use it.

I recently started using the Jergen's 3 Days to Glow Moisturizer.  It's basically an amped up version of the daily moisturizer.  If you're super pale like me, you can go to bed pale and wake up dark.  I haven't used it for three days in a row (yet), because I had such great results after one application.  That one application lasted me five days!  Super, super impressed with this product.

Another tanning product that I keep in my bathroom is the St. Tropez Self Tanner. This is a foam, so it's extremely easy to apply.  This is another 'go to bed pale, wake up dark' product.  My skin isn't just darker, it looks glow-y.  Good stuff!

Body Care Routine 4

For exfoliation, I use the Bodycology Sugar Scrub.  They have a couple different scents at Target, and they all smell amazing!  While it exfoliates my legs and body amazingly well, I don't care for the feeling of the sugar on my hands.  Is that weird?  I put my exfoliating gloves on when I use it.

For moisture, I use the Clarins Tonic Body Treatment Oil.  It is better than lotion.  It sinks into the skin without the greasy feeling.  My skin looks hydrated all day long, and it smells amazing!  Every once in a while, I use my Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner in the shower.  This is applied when your skin is wet in the shower, you leave it on for a couple minutes, and then rinse it off.  It smells like gorgeous roses, and you don't even have to apply lotion when you're out of the shower!  So splurgy, so worth it.

In other moisture news, I also use a couple products from Burt's Bees.  Side note, these are my favorite Burt's Bees products!  On my feet, I use the Coconut Foot Creme.  Quite literally, I have been using this for almost 10 years.  It's the only product that keeps my skin hydrated all day long.

As far as my hands, I have been keeping the Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme in my nightstand.  I picked this up last month, randomly, at the grocery store.  It had been a long time since I'd used it and had forgotten how nice it is!  This is the kind of moisturizer that really moisturizes your skin.  Sometimes, when I use hand cream, it just sits on my skin and gets washed off when I wash my hands.  But, with the Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme, my hands stay hydrated all day.

So, those are my favorite body care products!  I would love to know what you use!

Linking up with Carly and Molly.
