Rocksbox: August 2014

Have you heard of Rocksbox?  It's basically the Netflix of jewelry.  For $19 a month, you get sent three pieces of jewelry to try out.  Try them out as long as you want and send them back when you want different pieces!  If you want to purchase any of the jewelry, you get a 20% discount.

This month, I got my second Rocksbox!  I was pretty happy with my first box, even though I didn't keep anything.  I've had a lot of fun trying out different styles of jewelry.  I'm not too adventurous when it comes to jewelry, so these are all things I wouldn't pick out for myself.

In this box, I was sent the Gorjana Mesa Cuff.  This fit perfectly.  It's hard to find bracelets that fit me well, and this one is gorgeous.  I am pretty tough on bracelets though, since I work on a computer most of the day.  So, I sent this one back.

I recently started wearing midi rings, so this was fun to find in my box!  This is the Urban Gem Arrow Midi Ring in silver.  It was a little too tight, so I sent it back.  But, isn't it cute?

This is the House of Harlow 1960 Five Station Necklace in Cobalt.  I love this necklace.  Cobalt is one of my favorite colors. I love classic statement necklaces like this.  It adds something to your outfit, but it won't fall out of style for a long time.  I was on the fence about keeping this one, because after the discount it was still $60.  I had completed a survey for a $15 credit in my account, so it would only be $45.  I was literally boxing it up to send it back and realized I would miss wearing it.  I had room in my clothing budget this month for it, so I kept it!  And I am so, so glad I did.

Rocksbox is so fast with shipping, I already have my third box!  I'll be sharing that one in a couple weeks.

Have you tried Rocksbox?  What do you think?

p.s.  I was given a complimentary 3-month subscription in exchange for a review.  All opinions are 100% my own.
