Stitch Fix August 2014
Oh, yeah! It's time for another Stitch Fix! To recap from last month, I got my first fix. I loved it. I kept a shirt. I immediately ordered my next fix.
Okay, let's get started on this month's. I was overall very happy with my first fix. There were basically just fit issues, but there wasn't anything that was repulsive. My stylist did a great job of understanding my style. For this month, I clarified how I want things to fit and aside from one item (sad face) my stylist got it right. At this time, I'm not looking for specific items. I'm open to suggestions from my stylist and just want to have fun.
Here is what I got!
Pixley Stacey Scallop Hem Cut-Out Detail Skirt, size L, $64
Ugh, can we just look at this skirt for a bit? It's so pretty, but it sadly didn't fit. I would have kept it, had I been able to zip it. #truestory
Loveappella Denise Stripe & Dot Print Dolman Top, size M, $28
Something else that didn't fit ... quite right. Well, it fit. I'm obviously wearing it. But, it felt too short. I sent this back.
Chris & Carol Wilam Zig-Zag Print Top, size M, $44
41Hawthorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan, size M, $48
Double yes! I love the pattern and colors of the top. The cardigan is super soft and fits perfectly. I've been wearing cardigans to work, because it's so cold in our office. Bonus! They look perfect together. I kept both of these.
Emperia Clarita Messenger Bag, $68
I really, really liked this purse. It's my favorite color, it converts to a cross body, and it's very roomy. Sadly, I didn't keep it because I already have a bag in this color. I did love it, though.
So, this month I spent a total of $92 on two items that I will wear over and over again to work. Of course, I did schedule my next fix. I've asked my stylist to find a light grey purse for me. I've been wanting one for a while, and when I got sent a purse I thought to ask for one. Other than a purse, I'm not looking for anything other than awesome pieces that will add value to my wardrobe.
