Makeup Monday: September Beauty Favorites

September Favorites & Giveaway

Happy Monday!  Be prepared for one of my more boring beauty favorites. I bought some new glasses this month and didn't play around with my makeup too much this month.  I've basically been wearing the same look every day since my glasses came in the mail.

September Favorites & Giveaway 2

Younique 3D Fiber Lashes

I have finally tried this fiber lash system.  This has been all over the beauty Youtube channels and beauty blogs that I follow.  I have a friend who sells Younique products, so I bought the set from her. The set comes with two products, a gel and lash fibers.  You apply both just like you do regular mascara.  First, you apply your regular mascara and let it dry.  Then, you take the Younique gel and apply it over your mascara.  While it's still wet, you then apply the fibers. Lastly, you apply another coat of gel and you'r set!

My lashes look so amazing with the 3D Fiber Lashes.  They are voluminous and long.  So, basically, the exact opposite of my natural lashes.  My friend Amy and I are going to be hosting a Facebook lash party in October, so stay tuned for that!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara

Yes, yes, this mascara again!  Since I tried this back in April, it's been my favorite mascara.  I was given this for a collaboration with Rimmel, and then I was scent another tube in an Influenster box. It's a great price ($5.99) for such an awesome mascara.

Collection Work the Colour Nude Eye Palette (UK site)

I was sent this by Aine, and I have used the heck out of it this month.  I really like the highlighting and dark colors, but this month I used the shadow in the very middle.  It looks great all over the lid and in the crease or just lightly in the crease if you're wearing a heavy eyeliner/mascara look.

Revlon Brow Fantasy Pencil & Gel

I've gone back to using my favorite eyebrow pencil from Revlon.  It's soft and easy to apply, and it stays all day.  The gel is not my favorite, as it's a bit crunchy.  The price of the product is well worth the pencil, in my opinion!

Clinique Powder Blusher in Iced Lotus

This is another favorites repeat.  When I wear my glasses, I feel like my skin needs to look flawless and perfectly enhanced with a gorgeous blush.  This is one of blushes I like to use.  It's a gorgeous, slightly shimmery pink that makes my skin look perfectly flushed and glow-y.  I've gotten two of these in gifts with purchase.  Gotta love those gifts with purchase!

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Brown

I've been wearing thicker eyeliner with a slight cat eye this month, and this was the only eyeliner I used.  If you're looking for a high end, stay-all-day eyeliner this is it (also, they only have about a million colors)!  There are also amazing options at the drug store.  I'm trying to use up some eyeliners right now, so this is going to be my liner of choice until it's gone.

Laura Geller Beauty Spackle Neutralizing Color-Correcting Under Makeup Primer

What.  A.  Mouthful.  Despite this ridiculously long name, this is a really great primer.  I've loved the Laura Geller spackle for a few years.  She has a few different versions of it, and this one neutralizes any red in my complexion.  It's also amazing for keeping my foundation on all day.

So, those are my favorite from this month!  My makeup was very simple and long-wearing.  It was also easy to apply every morning, since I was doing it the same way every day.  Love!

My giveaway this month is three Rimmel products and a super cute makeup bag.  Since I participated in the Influenster box earlier this year, I was sent a goody box of Rimmel products.  There were a couple items that I already own, so I will be passing them along to one lucky winner.  I also included my favorite Rimmel mascara.

This month, I am giving away:

1 Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara
1 Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Big Bang
1 Rimmel Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara
