Over the past year, I have been taking an active part in improving my health. One of the first concepts I learned was that digestion is the key to your health. I have been taking small steps to daily improve my digestion, whether it is using lemon juice in my water or avoiding processed foods. I quickly learned the digestive barrier that coffee causes, particularly in your intestines. The problem? I love my coffee. It's not even the caffeine that I love so much -- it's the flavor.
I have been on the look out for a coffee replacement ... and by that, I mean to replace my coffee with anything warm and tasty. I love hot drinks, and I have recently added the Kiss Me Organics Organic Dandelion Root Tea to my daily routine. It's caffeine-free, so I love drinking it at night.
Dandelion Root Tea is very healthy for your digestive system. It can cleanse and detox your liver and kidneys. It is also nutrient rich in Vitamins A, C, D, and B-Complex plus iron. This benefits not only your digestive health, but it supports your immune system and gives you an overall sense of well being. This particular tea is a blend with hibiscus and cinnamon. Hibiscus gives it a slightly fruity flavor, which I love. The cinnamon helps balance your blood sugar. Cinnamon is also known to reduce bad cholesterol.
What is your favorite tea at the moment? Have you ever tried Dandelion Root Tea?
