Wow, what a weekend! Hurricane Matthew stormed through and we're still here. We're dry, safe, and we've had power and water. School is cancelled for the rest of the week, so we'll be hunkering down to wait for the waters to recede. The kids haven't been very restless, thankfully. It's been better than we imagined!
I've had some time to go through makeup and rearrange a few things. I thought it would be a good time to get some darker lipsticks out and ... lo and behold, I only have three! Two of them are so similar, I unintentionally found a dupe for one of my favorite expensive lip product brands. I might need some recommendations from you all...
E.L.F. Moisturizing Lipstick in Bordeaux Beauty
This is one of my favorite lines from the drugstore. It's so pigmented, moisturizing, and it's affordable. Another major 'plus' is that it smells delicious. I featured a different color in my August Beauty Favorites.
Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Color in Aubergine
Ironically, I couldn't find Aubergine online and then the E.L.F. lipstick looked exactly like it! Later, I found it on Sephora's site. But, if you don't want to shell out the $24 for the Bite Beauty lip color, then the E.L.F. is a very close dupe! This gorgeous eggplant color is perfect for the fall/winter. This formula stays put for so long, and I love the packaging.
Giorgio Armani Beauty Lip Maestro in 201 Dark Velvet
This was recently send to me for review. I've heard so many great things about the Lip Maestro line, and it has lived up to the hype. I have a couple colors, and this is my favorite at the moment. It's a deep brick red. It's my favorite type of red to wear, because it has just the right amount of brown in it. This formula is amazing. It is a velvety matte finish. I love matte finishes, because it makes my lips look bigger. But, this is not a flatt matte. It's very silky and more of a 'natural' matte.

All right, friends, I need some dark lipstick suggestions! It is pitiful that I only own three!
