I'm a little ashamed to say that I've hoarded an obscene amount of body lotion over the last couple years. Since I need to (a) get my skin in tip top shape and (b) use up all this lotion, I've purposed to moisturize my entire body every morning.
This sounds really easy, but it's so hard for me to remember to use body lotion. It just feels like such a chore. Well, I've pulled out my favorite body butter and some other beauty bits that are making me feel a little more ready for the upcoming sweaty months!
Simple Micellar Water
I recently started using Simple products again, after seeing a buy one, get one free coupon in the paper. I love their micellar water makeup wipes, and I also picked up this large bottle of their micellar water. If you've never heard of micellar water, it's a combo of oil and water (the science of the whole thing is beyond me) that basically melts your makeup off your face. This is perfect for my face but not so much for my eyes, so I'm still using my favorite eye makeup remover as well.
The Body Shop Body Butter - Coconut
If you love anything scented like coconut, then you will LOVE this. Coconut is my favorite summer smell, so this is definitely getting put at the front of the body lotion rotation! Technically, this is a body butter, not a lotion .. but you get what I mean! It's thick and creamy, and it sinks into my skin. I love the scent, which is major plus!
Caudalie Premier Cru Elixir
Remember when I said I was hoarding a skincare set from Caudalie? I finally busted it out, and this elixir has been amazing at night. My skin feels so smooth and hydrated when I wake up, it's going to be really hard not to buy the full size (the price tag really hurts). In fact, if you're in the market for some high end skin care, the Premier Cru line from Caudalie is amazing.
One Love Organics Antioxidant Body Serum
I love using body oils just as much as I love body butters. They're just another way to keep my skin moisturized so it looks healthy. This is one of my favorite body serums. It's one of my favorite floral scents, gardenia, and it makes my skin look so glowy. There's nothing shimmery about it at all. It gives your skin that lit from within glow!
BTZ Beach Head Salt Spray
If salt spray isn't appropriate for the spring/summer, then I don't know what is. This is by far the best salt spray I've ever tried. It's fast drying, and it doesn't make your hair feel dry and crunchy. I use it when my hair needs some oomph, because it packs a serious punch in the volume department!
That's about all the faves I have at the moment. What have you been loving lately?
