My Current Favorite Mascara Primer

You all probably know how much I love to try mascara, and ... I have another good one to share with you.  After I ran out of my favorite Rimmel Super Curler mascara, I pulled a new mascara out of my drawer of makeup back ups.  It's slightly shameful, but I have nearly a full drawer of makeup to try out.

Anyways.  ;)

I bought the L'Oreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara & Primer when it was released last year but completely forgot about it until this past month.  The L'Oreal Voluminous mascara was the first mascara I ever used long, long ago.  Well... it wasn't that long ago.  But, that mascara has been one of my favorites for, what seems like, forever.

When I saw that they reformulated it into a more dramatic mascara. And bonus!  It also comes with a primer!  I am a huge fan of mascara primer, especially since I have allergies and it's humid where I live.  Mascara very easily smudges on me.  I've been using this mascara for over a month, and I love it.  So, I wanted to share some before and after pictures of my lashes.

Can we just appreciate the lift it gives my lashes?  I have the straightest, most boring lashes.  I'm just lucky that they're black, or else my lids would look bald.  The claims to this mascara are lots of volume, lots of length, and dramatic lashes.  Compared to what my lashes looked like before, I am very happy.  The 'lots of volume' just isn't there for me, which is fine.  This mascara gives my lashes a lot of length, definition, and lift.  It also darkens up my lash line, which does make my lashes look thicker at the base.

At $10.99, this is an amazing drugstore mascara, especially since it comes with a primer!

Have you tried this mascara?  What did you think?
