Yesterday, I got an e-mail that my November Birchbox had shipped. Cripes!! I need to get on those reviews for my October box. Pretty soon, I’ll be doing a haul for my November box.
So, let’s start with the most expensive product that I will never buy. Price aside, this product was very, very nice. The smell was lovely, and it stayed with me the whole day. I like it when my shampoo/conditioner smells really good and doesn’t wear off throughout the day. Birchbox claimed that this would also make my hair silky soft and smooth, and they weren’t lyin’. It made my hair the softest it’s felt in a long time (Moroccan Oil Conditioner would be a close second to this one).
As far as the ‘Beautiful Color’ properties, it is supposed to cleanse and condition gently without stripping away color. Since I only had two packets each of the shampoo and conditioner, I don’t feel like I can really speak to how well it kept my color on my hair. I did use this the two days after I colored my hair, but I didn’t notice whether or not the color was washed away less.
So, basically, this was a really nice two-day treat for my hair. It smells great, makes my hair feel lovely, but it’s not something I can afford.
