Oh, Orofluido, how you impressed me. If you’ll remember from my Birchbox haul post, I was a little skeptical about this product. Birchbox has previously sent me two similar products, and they fell flat (pun intended, as they made my hair fall flat, too).
It took me a couple weeks to try this product, but I am thoroughly impressed. If you’ve ever used Moroccan Oil, it’s just like that. It smooths your hair down and gives it a bit of a shine. This is a description from Birchbox’s website:
“ This serum relies on a triple-treat of standout oils: argan oil strengthens strands; linseed oil smoothes cuticles to leave hair shiny; and Cyperus oil fortifies and boosts manageability.”
I think that it’s just as impressive as Moroccan Oil, and it doesn’t have the almond-y smell that I associate with MO. The almond-y smell of MO doesn’t bother me, but if it does bother you the Orofluido Elixir would be a good way to go.
Overall, this product has been impressive to me. I don’t know if I’ll ever purchase the full size product, simply because I’m going through an Aveda Smoothing Fluid Lotion right now, I have an unopened bottle of Moroccan Oil and another hair oil sample to work through before I get to this one. But, if I had to go out and purchase one today, this would be it!
