Oh, Thrifty Thursday, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways…
Two button-ups. The left is by a.n.a. It is perfectly soft and worn in. Just the way I like my denim. The right is Ann Taylor LOFT and stretchy. To be honest, the color looks bad on me, but only because there is so much of it. If I put this under a sweater, it will be perfect.
Two tops. The left is by Heritage 1891. When I brought this home, I realized that I recently bought a shirt almost exactly like this for our daughter. And by almost exactly, I mean exactly only in baby form. Now I just need to teach her how to say “TWINSIES!!!!!!” She’s only 1. All in due time…
The right is by BCBG Max Azria. I thought this would be a great slouchy top to wear with a belt and some skinnies. You know, 1980s … only, cooler.
Another top and another button-up. It is safe to say that I am addicted to sheer blouses now. I have put back no less than 5 at Goodwill in the past week. Of course, that means that I’ll probably be going back to purchase those 5 if they’re still there… This one’s by New York & Company.
The button-up on the right is by Old College Inn. It’s being gifted to a friend, though.. I tried it on and my goodness, it’s too small. I don’t know what I was thinking when I picked this up. Probably that the blue was perfect and the stripes were just skinny enough. You know, something like that…
And last, but not least. One pair of shoes. Shoes from Goodwill kind of gross me out, but sometimes there’s a pair I just can’t let go. I’m 90% sure these are from Maurices.
So, tell me. The shoes I’ve purchased before from Goodwill have looked barely worn, but these have apparently seen a couple miles. How do you clean thrifted shoes?
p.s. I thrifted these before I started the 30 for 30. Just wanted to be accountable. Over and out.
