While my allergies are still raging, my head cold has subsided. Good thing, since my office is throwing a wedding shower for one of our coworkers. I’m pretty sure no one wants me sniffling over the cheese ball and chex mix. Unless, of course, it’s sniffling from tears of happiness for our friend.
Side note (kind of): when I’m at Goodwill or any other thrift shop, I always wonder what possessed people to donate the items that I end up purchasing. Such as with these shoes. They are so stinkin’ cute. I did, however, realize why they were donated after I walked into my kitchen. They are SO LOUD and CLUNKY. Off they went and I put my trust brown Merona wedges on. Ugh to Maurices shoes. These are the second pair I’ve thrifted that haven’t worked out well. I won’t have to wonder why they’re donated. Now I know.
