I’m pretty sure if I had never started blogging about clothes and such, I would have never realized how much I like summertime clothes. This is quite a revelation, because I have abhorred summer clothing most of my life. Summertime, for me, used to mean shorts and baring skin and feeling pale when everyone else was tan. All things I dislike. Well, I don’t dislike being pale. I do dislike taking pictures with tan people on a beach. It becomes painfully obvious who doesn’t live at a beach. 🙂
Anyways.
Summertime really isn’t about all those things for me, anymore. Summer is for bright and beautiful colors and open toe shoes (nail polish!), twirly skirts, and simply designs. You can get away with wearing a t-shirt and capris and it looks perfect for the summer.
Bring it on, summer. I’m ready and armed with sunscreen!
