This skirt hasn’t been worn in forever. Last spring, I was shedding baby weight. The spring before that, I was pregnant. So, yeah… It’s been at least three years since I’ve worn it. Poor skirt. This is the skirt that I wore on the first day of my first full-time job (well, it was part-time then and later I got hired on as full time, but it’s the same place I’ve been working since then).
My 28-year-old self thinks my 22-year-old was a little inexperienced in the subject of appropriate office dress. I don’t wear this skirt to the office anymore. It’s not quite office material, no? It is, however, perfect for church, Sunday lunch, and meeting your future sister-in-law. Which is exactly what I used it for this past Sunday.
