This is what I wore last Tuesday, the day before the Fourth of July. It never got blogged because … well, I actually don’t remember. …Probably because we were watching fireworks that night and I didn’t even turn on the computer.
Isn’t it nice to step away from technology once in a while? I think so. When I’m away from the computer/cell/etc., I think “Oh, this is so nice! Maybe I’ll just quit it all together. Maybe I’ll quit blogging, too.” (Just a side note, I’ve had a personal online blog for about ten years, so the internet and I have had quite a long on-again, off-again relationship) But, I never do. I come back to where I’m blogging, which happens to be here at the moment, and pick up right where I left off.
Some things of note:
-Our cat has not returned. We have come to grips that he was probably gotten by something, most likely the coyotes that have taken up residence somewhere around here. Here is why we think that. The night before he disappeared, we heard a coyote yipping off yonder in the woods. Next day, he was gone. Then, a week later, we heard yipping again. (Also, during all the yipping the dogs in the neighborhood were going CRAZY) Next day, one of our stray cats (the mama of the three kittens) goes missing. That was a week ago. So, yeah…
-We still have two of the three kittens. We had them in the house while we were trying to find homes for them, which brings me to my next point.
-They are now outside cats, which brings me to my next point.
-We are bombing the house for fleas.
