I am a huge fan of Pinterest. It’s a great way to not only pin things you want to remember but also to see what others are pinning. Sometimes, when I’m floundering in my closet, I hop on and browse through my Fashion board or I search through other people’s boards for inspiration. I also love, love, love finding new crafts to try.
The thing is … well … you, see. The thing is … Pinterest is just a tad addicting. So much so that my Craftiness board is over flowing with ideas and I haven’t made many of them. I’m not the only one with this ‘problem,’ in fact, this is how Sherry and Katie came up with this idea of a Pinterest Challenge. It’s time to pause the pinning and start the doing! This is the fourth installment. You can view the first, second, and third here, here, and here. I’ve participated once before, when I made a necklace inspired by this pin.
This time around, I’m going to take on something a little more challenging. Over the past year, I’ve taken an interest in sewing and two of my Craftiness pins caught my eye while I was scrolling through my board. I originally pinned this clutch with the intention of making it for Little Tin Soldier’s Clutch Party but never got around to it. This is one option. The other pin I’m considering is this apron. I have a super cute fat quarter set that was on clearance at Michael’s. The major plus with the apron is that I wouldn’t need to purchase any additional supplies.
Doesn’t it sound like fun? The ‘deadline’ for the projects is July 10, which is next Tuesday. That gives me more than enough time to figure out which project to make and buy any possible additional supplies.
Are you going to be joining in the Pinterest challenge?
