Sweatshirt was thrifted
Short story about this sweat shirt. I found it in Goodwill and thought, “Hmm! Pima cotton sweatshirt with crocheted detailing around the neck? Yes please!” And then I didn’t purchase it. I know, I know! Like, what was I thinking? A couple days after that particularly fateful day, I went back and pawed through the pink sweaters and found it again. It was actually easy to find because they had it on a pants hanger. Which, now that I think about it, may be the reason it hadn’t been purchased before then. It was kind of hidden, drooping down between the other pink sweaters.
I wore this to the opening of Breaking Dawn Part 2. No haters, please, no haters. As the series has gone on, my excitement for Twilight has waned. But, it was the last one and we just couldn’t miss the opening. For the past four years, a coworker and I have braved the midnight showings of the Twilight movies (we weren’t “into” it until New Moon was coming out in the theaters). In fact, I only got two hours of sleep after seeing New Moon in a theater in Garner, which is almost two hours away from us. But, we never skipped out on work and have always been on time to work the next day. Each year, we’ve gotten more tired, though. We were soSOSO relieved that the opening was at 10 instead of midnight. 10 is still past my bedtime, but midnight is just crazy talk.
