Sweater, belt, and skirt were thrifted; Necklace won in a giveaway
Most people start exercise routines in January, when New Year’s Resolutions are fresh on everyone’s minds. I, however, prefer to wait until March, apparently. When spring rolls around and I pull out my capris from last year and realize . . . I can’t button them. I mean, I can button them — just not comfortably. So, last night, I pulled out an old favorite of mine, the Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred. Last night was the first time I’d exercise in, quite literally, years. And, man, do I feel shredded (pun totally intended).
All this to say, if I start looking like I can’t stand up straight without wincing from the pain of my muscles slowly being reborn, don’t worry! I’m just getting in shape and being healthy.
