Part of the nomination is to post seven random facts about myself. Here we go:
1 – I used to play the piano, violin, and bass guitar. I also sort of taught myself how to play a regular guitar, but I was never any good. We still have my piano and my violin.
2 – As much as I love lipstick, it’s also intimidating to me.
3 – I love to cook and try new recipes all the time.
4 – I have had some form of an online journal or blog for 10 years.
5 – We’ve been using cloth diapers for five years. And! My hubby and I realized this weekend that we’ve been diapering one or more kids for six straight years. Needless to say, we are tired of diapers.
6 – I think it’d be really cool to be a makeup artist.
7 – Having a garden this year is going to be so much fun. I’ll be trying a different gardening technique with hay bales. Maybe I’ll keep you updated about it!

And now let’s get down to business. I’ll be taking a blogging break for about a month to focus on this last month of my classes. I have two big papers due at the end of the month, and it’s going to take up all my “free” time. Ahh… free time. What is that, again? I’ll see you on the flip side!
