I have just a couple items to share with you on this Thrifty Thursday morning.
If I were to make a list of thrifting tips, my number on suggestion would be to stay picky, no matter what brands you find and no matter what the prices are. It’s really easy to buy everything you like, especially if it’s a brand you can’t afford at normal price. And especially because the prices are tempting in thrift stores. I’ve been thrifting for over two years now, and I learned fast what I like and don’t like. Skirts have been my favorite item to thrift from the beginning. There’s always a good variety to search through when I go!
This skirt is from Talbots and it’s in great condition. Bonus? It has pockets! Better bonus? It was only $4.39!
This is what I’m going to assume is vintage. The tag looks super old and I’ve never heard of the brand (ever heard of the clothing brand “Personal”? Yeah, me either). Although it has a company tag in the waist band, it actually looks kind of hand sewn. That doesn’t bother me, because it’s not obvious unless you’re examining the seams. I’ve been wanting a striped skirt for a while, and I love the vintage-y feel to the colors and the pleats. This one has pockets, too!
What have you thrifted lately? Have you found anything good?
