I am feeling a little behind with my Makeup Monday post. I meant to
have this video up over the weekend, but what with packing for the beach
and unpacking when we go back it didn’t happen.
Sooo… it’s about that time! Time for a Birchbox unboxing. You probably
already know what Birchbox is, but in case you don’t you can learn more here.
Basically, it’s a makeup sample subscription service. Every month, you
receive 4-5 deluxe samples of high-end beauty and/or life style
products. I’ve received quite a few full-sized items, so it definitely
pays for itself. So, here we go…

These are so cute! I can’t wait to work them into a hairstyle (literally).
Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45
I am excited to try another BB cream from Dr. Jart. I have the Black Label Detox+, which seems to be a little heavier coverage and a little darker. This one feels more like a tinted moisturizer, which will be perfect after having some sun at the beach this weekend!
Number 4 Super Comb Prep & Protect
As I’m running out of my last sample of leave in conditioner, this is coming at the perfect time! I look forward to trying this on the ends of my hair.
I received the color Dusk Til Dawn, and it’s lovely! It’s definitely a dark nude, sort of a pinky brown. It feels very, very hydrating on my lips.
OC8 Professional Mattifying Gel
This is another exciting sample for me. I like mattifying products, since my skin gets oily throughout the day. I forgot to use this while I was getting ready this morning, so I’ll make sure to try it tomorrow (and especially since I’m working long hours tomorrow!).
