I am so excited for my favorites post this month. I have some really, really great products to share with you all! Every month, I feel like my favorites reflect the staples of my beauty routine and this month is not different.
Fiafini Pure Marula Beauty Oil
I’ve mentioned oils before in my skin treatments post earlier this year. This year, I delved into natural, effective skin care to improve my skin’s texture and tone. Oils help your skin retain moisture and can also contain anti-aging properties. This particular oil is multifunctioning. It comes from the nuts of the marula tree and it is high in fatty-acids and antioxidants. As far as your skin, it will hydrate it and reduce redness. It did exactly that for my skin. I will have a more thorough review going up in December!*
Kate Somerville Clarifying Treatment Toner
This toner is one I’d been wanting to try for a while when I purchased it in August. One, because my skin looks better when I use an exfoliating toner. Two, because it contains phytic acid, which can help improve acne scars. I have quite a few acne scars from when I was a teenager (most of my redness comes from them), and I have seen a vast improvement since using this toner. In fact, I haven’t use concealer on any of my scars for the past two weeks. Love it!
Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant in Complete Clean
I received this deodorant in my Beauty Box 5 for November, and it was an instant favorite! Not only does it smell great, but it’s also not overpowering. There’s nothing worse than a deodorant you can smell all day (in my opinion). I happen to be one of those people who sweat (what seems like) all the time. Stressed? Sweat. Nervous? Sweat. Hot? Sweat. (well, duh on the last one) I really, really like this deodorant. You can color me impressed.
NARS Sheer Glow in Siberia
I
don’t think I’ve ever included this foundation in a favorites before,
but nevertheless it’s a favorite this month! When my skin is at its
lightest (basically, the moment fall begins), this is the perfect
shad to me. It is neither sheer nor glowy, so its name is definitely a
misnomer. But, it does even skin tone and cover minor spots very
well. NARS is one of the few brands that caters to lighter skin tones.
If you are as pale as I am, check this one out!
This is an “old” favorite. In fact, it’s been a fave of mine for the past year or so. This is a clay-based exfoliating mask that smells like mint. It’s great for problem skin. My face feels refreshed and clarified after using this. You can also use this on your body, but I have yet to do so. Using it on my face is perfect for me. If you have a LUSH near you, I completely recommend picking this up. You won’t be disappointed!
Revlon Grow Luscious by Lash Potion in Blackest Black
I’m working through a couple different mascaras right now, but this is the one I’ve been reaching for more often. This was released during the summer, which is when I really put it through the ringer! I have used this mascara in the heat and sun (in August!) and it doesn’t budge. It’s volumizing and lengthening. Definitely a staple item to have around.
L’Oreal Velvety Full Cover Lip Colour in Never Lacque-ing
You all know how much I love switching up my lip products. This particular color is the one I’ve been reaching for in the morning. The color goes with everything but it isn’t so neutral that it’s boring. You know what I mean? It goes on so incredibly smooth and stays for hours!
Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch
I’ve been squirreling away this jumbo sample for a while. This is a makeup base/primer that instantly smooths out your skin. If you have minor acne bumps, laugh lines, frown lines, or the like this product will make them smooth and primer your skin for foundation. I use this when I want a super smooth look … which, honestly, is all the time. But, sometimes I don’t want to go through all the effort, you know? When I feel like taking the time to make my foundation look perfect, this is what I use.
And that concludes my November favorites! One of my goals for my blog this year was to do favorites posts every month, and I’m one month away from completing that goal. This is definitely something I’ll continue next year as all, as I really enjoy sharing my favorite products with everyone. At the very end of the year, I’m going to do a round up of my favorites … a sort of favorites of the favorites, basically.
What have you been loving this month? Anything I should keep an eye out for next week when I go shopping?
*The Marula Oil was sent to me for review. I was not obligated to give a positive review. All thoughts are 100% my own. The Secret Deodorant was sent to me in my Beauty Box 5, which I receive for free in exchange for review. Again, not obligated to give a positive review and all thoughts are always (always) 100% my own.
