Earlier this year, I did a makeup series about summer makeup products. The series was broken into blush, lip products, and nail polish. I thought it would be fun to do this same series for the fall.
Today’s Makeup Monday will be featuring my favorite fall blushes. Be warned: I love blush. A lot. I used to think you had to find your one blush and stick to it for life. I don’t know what changed, but I realized at some point that you can wear whatever you want. All blushes don’t look good on me, or anyone for that matter. But, I do think that having a variety of blushes can be fun when you want to change up your look.
Rimmel Powder Blush in Berry
Rimmel’s blushes are some of my favorites. They are super affordable ($4.99), pigmented, and not chalky. This particular shade is that perfect berry color that’s appropriate for the fall.
E.L.F. Powder Blush in Mellow Mauve
The E.L.F. blushes are also some of my absolute favorite products. For the price, they are amazing quality and pigmentation. My blush brush picks up a lot of the product, so it’s essential to use a light hand when applying. I found this particular color in the summer, but I prefer it more for the fall.
Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Portofino/Como
If you have never tried a Laura Geller blush, you need to. Go buy one right now! I’ll wait for you to come back. 🙂 In all seriousness, the quality is outstanding and her blushes contain color-correcting properties that make your skin look absolutely amazing. Her blushes are baked, and you can see the ridges of the terra cotta tile peeking through in the picture above. I hesitated to include this color, because I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. But, it’s just so gorgeous and I love pulling it out in the fall. I don’t know what I’m going to do when it runs out!
NYX Powder Blush in Pinched
This is another shade that I found during the summer that I’ll continue using throughout the fall. It’s a bright pink, but deep enough to also be appropriate for the fall. These blushes are also super affordable and last all day.
Clinique Blush in New Clover
This is another one of those purple-y toned berry/mauve-ish colors that make me excited for fall makeup! I wouldn’t say that this blush is super affordable. It’s priced somewhere between a high-end and a drugstore blush. It’s lovely!
Hardy Candy Fox in a Box in Smooth Talker
I had wanted to try Hardy Candy for the longest time before I realized they sell it at Wal-Mart! For $6, you can get an knock-off of the Benefit boxed blushes. I don’t know what Benefit blush this might be a dupe for, but I love swirling the colors together to create a custom shade. These muted colors are so appropriate for the fall.
I hope you enjoyed this! Writing about beauty products is a lot of fun for me.
