I’m continuing with the last part of my fall makeup series today. Previously, I’ve done fall blushes and fall lip products. Today, we’re talking about fall nail polish!
Color Club in Wild Cactus
I
received this polish in a Birchbox at the beginning of the year, when
emerald was heralded as the color of 2013. As apprehensive as I was,
this color has grown on me. I love this as a bright pop of color. So
fun!
Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel in Midnight
This
nail polish line is amazing. It’s opaque after two coats and it lasts a
long time, even on me! I type a lot, so that speaks volumes for this
polish. This particular color is so pretty. It’s a muted version of
cornflower blue, in my opinion, which happens to be one of my faves.
Essie in Carry On
What
says fall more than deep eggplant nail polish? Not much, I say. Not
much. I purchased this polish last year, and it instantly became a
favorite cold-weather color.
Revlon Nail Polish in Gold Coin
Everyone
needs a beautiful, glittery nail polish for the fall/holiday season.
And this one should be yours! This polish is not textured, although it
looks like it is. I love the gritty aesthetic of the glitter, and it’s
metallic without being too much so. There is another metallic from this line that I might purchase, and it’s called Copper Penny.
OPI in Casino Royale
This
will be my fall pink-ish shade. It’s definitely a purple, but has more
pink in it than the Carry On from Essie. Not only is it a gorgeous
hue, but it’s also named after one of my favorite Bond films (of the
more recent ones).
And there you have it! My top picks for fall nail polish. What will you be sporting on your nails this season?
