Be prepared for eye shadow palette over load! I feel like I’ve talked quite a bit about high end eye shadows, but there are some amazing options at the drug store, too.
First up, my most recent eye shadow palette is from none other than Wet ‘n’ Wild. Wet ‘n’ Wild used to be total crap, back in the day. They are now known for their eye shadow palettes and lipsticks. Their eye shadows are very pigmented. With a primer, they last all day and don’t fade. I always use a primer on my eyelids, so I’m not sure how they wear without one. This particular palette is new to the drug store, and I love it. It has a shade for your highlight, lid, crease, lash line, and a fun sparkly color to boot. It’s definitely worth the $3.99!
Next up, this is a palette from Maybelline. I don’t own a lot of Maybelline eye shadows, but these are really nice. Their 4-pan palettes always catch my eye in the store. This palette is called Strut it Suede, and I’m sad to say that it was limited edition. They have a couple other neutral palettes that are just as pretty, like Give me Gold or Sunset Seduction. At $9.99, they are slightly more expensive than Wet ‘n’ Wild, but they are so nice, smooth, and pigmented!
Okay, a slight disclaimer about this next one. I LOVE Physician’s Formula eye shadows. In fact, the shimmer strips is a classic drug store product. But, this palette is specifically for enhancing hazel eyes. If you don’t have hazel eyes, they have a palette for every possible color of eyes. They recently released new “Nude” versions that look amazing, too! I love that you get so many different colors for the price ($11.99). All the shades are true to color and so, so pretty.
My apologies for this messy palette, but you can tell it’s well loved! This is the Wet ‘n’ Wild palette called Walking in Eggshells. Along with the next palette, it’s one of the more popular Wet ‘n’ Wild products. If you like simple eye shadow looks, this is all you need. It has a highlight, lid, and crease shade and you can mix them up a bit if you want. So, so, so worth the $2.99!
If you like a little more variety in your eye shadow palettes, this is the one to get. It’s (obviously) from Wet ‘n’ Wild, and it’s called the Comfort Zone Palette. It’s routinely out of stock at both my CVS and Walgreens, so you know it’s good! You have light shades, medium shades, dark shades, and one funky shade (bottom right). This is a good, cheap choice for travel since you have so many options. This palette is $4.99.
And there you have it! These are my top 5 neutral eye shadow palettes from the drug store. What are your favorite eye shadows from the drug store?
