Skirt via thredUP
When NYFW was going on, I enjoyed seeing all the recap photos from the cat walks. It’s fun to see designer fashion, but I have a hard time translating those styles to real life. So, that gave me the idea to come up with a new series for the month of March. Every Wednesday this month, I’m going to feature an outfit that centers on a spring trend. I enjoy the changing of the seasons, and you better believe I’m ready for spring after all this awful winter weather!
The other reason I want to do this series is that I have a bad habit of buying new clothes and failing to work them into my wardrobe in a useful way. To add to it, spring and summer are not my favorite seasons for fashion. This year, I’m going to be intentional and find warm weather styles that I love.
One style that I’ve been seeing in magazines and online is larger skirts. Now, I love a larger skirt. This LOFT skirt is one of my recent thredUP finds, and I love it. It’s neutral but the pattern is still interesting. It can be paired with many colors but is still the center of attention. This will be a staple during spring and summer! I can’t wait for the weather to warm up (p.s. I was freezing in these pics) (p.s.s. there is a mustard version of these shoes. how awesome are they??).
