Button-up was thrifted
So, let’s talk about Lent. I don’t usually give something up or make goals for this time of year. But, my eating habits had gotten pretty bad right before Lent started. I thought it would be a good idea to cut back on sweets and cut back my coffee intake to one cup a day. That might not sound like much, but …. I usually take my lattes with three shots of espresso. So, one cup a day was really cutting back.
Friends, it is hard to break bad habits. Like, really hard. I love sweets and I love coffee just as much. I’ve actually done good with my coffee goal. There have only been a couple days that I had more than one cup. But, the sweets goal is so hard! Especially with Easter coming up. It’s like candy is everywhere … staring at me, wanting me to eat it.
Okay, so it’s not that dramatic. But, it is hard.
Here’s to 18 more days! Hopefully I can continue my better habits after Easter.
