April Beauty Favorites 2

It was all about lips this month.  My lips were super dry, so a couple of these products helped with that.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm

This is a really great, thick lip balm.  It has a slight lemon scent to it.  It is so thick and nourishing, your lips feel so healthy and hydrated!  It’s super pricey and completely worth it.  I can’t imagine not using this! I keep it in my night stand.  It’s definitely a staple in my bed time routine.

NYX Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie

This gloss will hide any sign of dryness, which is exactly what I needed this month!  It’s very affordable (about $4.99, I think).  Bonus?  It smells good enough to eat.  It comes in a wide variety of colors, so you’re sure to find one that you love!

Almay Color + Care Lip Balm

Oh, what do you know… another moisturizing lip product 🙂  This is another long-time favorite of mine.  This line of lip products is also very affordable.  It’s not as thick as the NYX Butter Gloss.  This is a really great sheer option.

Max Factor Lipstick in English Rose

This is a product that Aine sent me in our swap, and it was an instant favorite!  I used to be able to buy Max Factor products at my Wal-Mart, but they stopped carrying the brand for some reason.  This is a really great lipstick.  It’s shimmery (in a good way), moisturizing, and long-wearing.  You can color me impressed.

Bobbi Brown Even Finish Long-Wearing Foundation (in Alabaster)

Ahhh… Bobbi Brown.  You do make a wonderful foundation.  This foundation feels hydrating on my skin, but it stays all day.  It’s awesome!  Bobbi Brown’s foundations are so natural looking, too.  This one has SPF, I have to scrub it off at the end of the day, and you barely need any to cover your whole face.  Win, win, win!

Can you tell I stuck to the pinks this month?

Julep Glow Pore Minimizing Blush in Peach Bellini

I got this blush in my Julep box a month or so ago.  I’m utterly impressed with the finish.  It looks glowy but not shimmery, it’s still on cheeks when I get home from work, and it blends so lovely on the skin.  It’s also the perfect size to throw in your hand bag, if you so desire.

Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 in Pink Lemonade

This is another product that Aine sent me, and it’s so cool!  These Sleek blush palettes are popular on the other side of the pond, and I can see why!  The middle blush is a cream product, while the other two are powder.  The pigmentation of these is amazing.  These are going to be the perfect blushes throughout summer.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Elusive

These Revlon balms were featured on my blog not too long ago.  This color has found its way into both my purse and my desk drawer many times over the past month.  It’s just that kind of color that looks good with whatever you wear.

Last, but not least, I purchased a Tangleteezer this month!  Our daughter’s hair is so tangly and hard to brush at the end of the day.  It really is torturous to both of us!  I decided to splurge a bit (this is $9.99) and try this out. Long story short: I’ll be buying another one so we won’t have to share.  It glides through your hair so easily. I don’t understand how it works, but I am sold!

That’s it for my April favorites.  Now for a giveaway!!

This month, I’m giving away:

1 little cosmetics bag
1 Nuse Reve de Miel Lip Balm
