l to r: Bourjois Color Boost, MAC Lipstick, Max Factor Lipstick, Clinique Chubby Stick Intense, Top Shop Lipstick, Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm, and Shea Moisture Lip Stain
I am so excited about today’s post. Rounding up my favorite products for the season is a lot of fun. I rummaged through my lip product drawer to bring you my favorite spring lippies!
Bourjois Color Boost Glossy Lipstick in Peach on the Beach
This is a new product to me this year. Aine sent this to me from the UK. It’s from a brand I’ve been wanting to try for a long time. This is similar to many of the chubby stick lip products, only it’s super glossy. It’s surprisingly long-wearing for how glossy it is. This color is called Peach on the Beach, and it’s perfect for spring!
MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup
I’ve been wanting this shade from MAC for a long time, because it’s featured so frequently in videos on Youtube. It always looks amazing on other people, so I thought it would look good on me, too. Spoiler alert: it does. It’s one of the very few pale pink shades I can get away with. It’s nude-ish without beig too nude, and the pink is not all up in your face. The perfect pinky nude, in my opinion.
Max Factor Lipstick in English Rose
This is another product that Aine sent to me. I used to be able to get Max Factor at my Wal-Mart, but they don’t carry it anymore. This is such a nice lipstick! It’s a great formula. Very long-wearing and a gorgeous color. A shimmery pink is a must for spring.
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Roomiest Rose
I have been a fan of the Clinique Chubby Sticks for a while, but sometimes they are lacking in color intensity. Clinique came out with these deeper-colored Chubby Sticks and I never got around to trying them out. This one is actually a sample from their last gift with purchase promotion. Oh my goodness, I love it! Very creamy, gorgeous rose color (but not too dark), and perfect for my purse.
Top Shop Lipstick in Brighton Rock
Can I mention my swap with Aine again? Because this is another amazing product she sent me. The Top Shop makeup is super popular, at least on Youtube. Their lipsticks are all so gorgeous, it would be so hard to pick out just one to try out. I’m so happy with the shade that sent me. This is the perfect bright lipstick for spring.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Elusive
Would this be a seasonal product roundup without Revlon? I think not. These are my latest faves from the classic brand. The matte balms are so creamy, and they have amazing staying power. This particular color has been my favorite shade so far.
Shea Moisture Lip Stain in Cameron
So, it’s kind of hard to show the color of this product, since it’s a stain. You can see it in this makeup look. It’s bright, gorgeous, and it stains your lips. The color stays until you eat something (at least that’s how long it lasted for me). It’s bright and beautiful. This formula is so nice, I want to try more colors!
That’s my roundup for spring lip products. What are you loving on your lips?
