If I was any amount of excited for last week’s post, then I’m doubly excited for today’s! Blush is one of my favorite makeup products. It’s so much fun to play with it, and it can instant transform your face. Here are 9 of my favorite spring blushes!
Julep Pore Minimizing Blush in Peach Bellini
If ever there was a glowy blush, this is it. I don’t know if it necessarily minimizes pores, since the pores on my cheeks are not big. But, it gives my cheekbones the most gorgeous glow. I love this peach color. They also have a pink!
Tarte 12-hour Amazonian Clay Blush in Fearless
This blush has amazing staying power. Just a dab will do you, if you know what I mean. It is very pigmented and stays through my work day. This particular color is not in their permanent line (I found it on Hautelook), but they have some gorgeous colors that would be just as flattering.
Sleek Blush by 3 in Pink Lemonade
Aine sent this to me for our swap, and it instantly became a permanent fixture in my makeup basket. The color on the right is my favorite, but they are all perfect for spring. These blushes stay all day, just like the Tarte blush. And they have that certain sheen to them that gives you that fresh spring glow.
Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Tropic Hues
I first tried a Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten back in 2010, and I was so impressed with the formula. Her blushes are incredibly smooth and flattering on the skin. They also contain skin-perfecting properties that reflect light and make your complexion look amazing. This shade, Tropic Hues, is definitely a spring/summer blush with its warm tones.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat
I jumped all over these blushes the moment Sephora released them on their site. I am such a fan of the ambient lighting powders. These are a ambient lighting powder/blush hybrid. The light color in the marble swirls is the ambient lighting powder (in this case, Diffused). It is swirled with a blush color to make a gorgoeus, glowy blush that looks so natural on the skin.
NYX Powder Blush in Pinched
This wouldn’t be a blush round up with my NYX Pinched. When I purchased this blush, I must have used it every day for an entire month. It’s bright without being two bright, it’s slightly shimmery without being juvenile, and it’s affordable. I buy NYX at my Target.
Did you notice that this blush doesn’t have a shade? That’s because it’s shade adjusting! I am forever amazed at products that adjust on my skin. How much more individual can you get? This looks like a very light pink in the pan, but it’s a pretty mid-tone pink on my skin.
What are you favorite blushes for spring? Any you think I should try?
