It’s Birchbox time! You probably already know what Birchbox is, but in case you don’t you can learn more here.
Basically, it’s a makeup sample subscription service. Every month, you
receive 4-5 deluxe samples of high-end beauty and/or life style
products. I’ve received quite a few full-sized items, so it definitely
pays for itself. So, here we go…
This month’s theme is shaking up your beauty routine and trying something new! I got such an amazing box this month. I’m excited about everything!
This is a BB cream exclusive to the Birchbox website. It contains antioxidants, aloe, and chamomile. All those things work together to give you that perfect glow and calm your skin! So far, I am very impressed with this. Dare I say I like it better than my beloved Dr. Jart? Hmm… we’ll see! So far, it’s ranking right up there with my Dr. Jart Detox+ BB Cream and my Purminerals CC Cream.
PIXI Beauty Shea Butter Lip Balm in Pixi Pink
I am already a fan of the PIXI brand, so maybe I’m biased when it comes to this. Ehh.. probably not. It’s pretty amazing. Think the best feeling lip balm + the prettiest color ever = my new favorite lip product. Rest assured, I want all the other colors, too.
Nexxus Color Assure Kit
This kit has three products in it: the Pre-Wash Primer, Vibrancy Retention Shampoo, and Vibrancy Retention Conditioner. I’ve tried Nexxus products before and liked them. This kit was fun to try. You take the pre-wash primer and apply it to dry hair before you get in the shower. When you’re in the shower, you wash and condition your hair like normal. My hair felt so incredibly smooth and shiny. I only had enough shampoo and conditioner for one use, but I still have a ton of the primer. I’m going to try the primer with other shampoos to see how I like it that way.
Last year, I purchased this based on the awesome reviews I read. I love using this on my face, because it doesn’t feel greasy under my makeup. This has been my face sunscreen of choice for almost a year! This little size will be put in my beach bag.
SmartyPants All-in-One Adult Complete Gummy Vitamins+Fiber
I know that lifestyle products are a bit hit or miss on unboxing videos, but I really enjoy them! Last month, I got a KIND snack bar. This month I got vitamins. I’ve never heard of this brand. Honestly, I mostly buy generic vitamins. And to be even more honest, I take a lot of vitamins. These SmartPants gummies are an all-in-one that is a multivitamin, vitamin D, and omega-3. They have a fiber version and a non-fiber version. This sample pack had two gummies, but you actually take 6 every day. I’ll be sticking with my current vitamins, but these are a great alternative if you can’t swallow vitamins easily and want to try an all-in-one product!
