Today’s Makeup Monday is all about my favorite highlighters. I am such a fan of highlighters. These actually aren’t all the ones that I own. Just my faves!
Lorac Perfectly Lit Spotlight Highlighter (Discontinued, similar here)
I am so sad that you can’t get this one anymore, but the new one looks quite similar. The golden tone of this highlighter is gorgeous. It’s the right balance of shimmer and golden-ness!
If you like the look of the Lorac one, this is another great one. It’s not quite as golden as the Lorac highlighter, and it has so much more shimmer. Seriously, you have to use a light hand with this. I imagine this will last for a very long time.
This is a sample that I received from the Benefit counter at the Crabtree Valley Mall Belk store. This is, of course, a golden-tone cream highlighter. This is one of my favorite cream highlighters. It’s so creamy and easy to blend.
Dermablend Quick Fix Illuminator
This was sent to me by Birchbox for review last year. This is a white liquid highlighter. It is in brush-tip-pen-form, if that makes sense. It is the most natural highlighter I own. That band of white on the package is the product. It doesn’t look white when you blend it in, so it gives a very ethereal, gorgeous glow to the skin.
Sonia Kashuk Liquid Highlighter (Discontinued, similar here)
I am so sad that I found this product on clearance. Usually, that means the product is being discontinued. Sonia Kashuk re-released the highlighter in cream stick form. This one is liquid-y like the Dermablend one. It’s very golden. Not quite an everyday highlighter, but gorgeous nonetheless.
Top Shop Glow in Gleam
This was sent to me by Aine, when we did a swap in April. I have eyed Topshop makeup products online but was nervous to order any. She sent me a few Topshop products, all of which have been amazing. This has been my highlighter of choice since I received it. Once again, a little goes a long way so a light hand is required. I use it in my “No Makeup” Makeup look.
What do you think about highlighters? A must-have for your makeup routine, or something for special occasions?
