I love this top so much, but until today I didn’t know it was actually beach cover up? I just realized it was in the beach cover up section of J. Crew’s website. How weird, because I would never wear something this nice to the beach.
Whenever we go to the beach, my cover up is inevitably stained with sand (is it only me? i just can’t get the sandy grime out of swim suit to save my life) or slushie. Slushie carts are a major yes!! Slushie mess? Major no. Other things that stain my cover up: jelly, from pb&j sandwiches, that melts and oozes out when one of the kids is sitting on my lap and chip dust (barbecue, cheezie puff or otherwise).
The beach is not a safe place for cover ups, apparently.
