Tee: Gap (same style, different colors) // Skirt: J. Crew (via thredUP, similar) // Shoes: Target (old, similar)
Necklace: Caroline Grace (old, w/Facebook coupon code, similar)
Well, time to post all of my summer-y outfits that are already photographed! North Carolina actually decided to cool down this week. It makes my goose-bump-covered arms and legs happy.
Ironically, this outfit is my most worn tee shirt and my least worn skirt. I purchased the tee back in July when Molly and Angela and I went shopping. They also had a blue version, but they didn’t have my size. I’m still a little sad about that. When I saw this in the store, I was drawn to the fabric and the almost space-dyed shades of grey. It has a worn-in texture that makes me feel like I’ve owned it forever.
This skirt is one that I purchased from thredUP (referral link) towards the beginning of the year. I am an ever-loving sucker for small details in textiles, and the decorative stitching had me at hello. I’ve worn it a grand total of two times, and I wonder if I should get rid of it?
Do you ever keep things just because they’re gorgeous … even if you don’t wear it often?
