In case you’ve never heard of Loverly, it is basically your wedding binder in the clouds. It’s a way to keep all your bridal inspiration in one spot, and to gain more inspiration while you’re planning your special day. You can find inspiration for every aspect of your wedding. Food, beauty, wedding dresses, you name it!
Now, I’m obviously not planning a wedding anytime soon, but I couldn’t resist to create a makeup look to go with this dress. The dress that caught my eye is classic and gorgeous. I love the elegant, Hollywood aesthetic with the high neck and mermaid silhouette. Lace is so elegant and timeless, and I think the makeup should be timeless as well. Since this look is romantic, I would mirror that in the makeup with soft pinks and purples.

For this makeup look, I would bring in some of my tried-and-true favorites. For my face, I would use one of my favorite primers, the Hourglass Primer, with my favorite foundation from Bobbi Brown. For my highlighter, I would bring in the Dermablend Quickfix Illuminator. To set everything, I would use the Tarte Smooth Operator (that stuff is seriously amazing!).
To keep things simple, I would use a palette from Tarte for my cheeks and eyes. You have all the colors you need right there. In addition, for my eyes, I would line my lashes with The Balm’s Schwing Liquid Eyeliner and finish my lashes with Dolce & Gabbana’s Passion Eyes Mascara (one of my faves!).
For my lips I would use the NARS lipstick in Dressed to Kill. It’s a beautiful fuchsia rose, so it’s a ‘your lips but better’ shade. And to finish off the whole look, I would use Burberry’s English Rose on my nails. So classic!
