I was provided with free product from ThirdLove to review for this post. All opinions are, and always will be, 100% my own.
This past year, I had one goal for my wardrobe and that was to add things to my closet that were high quality and long-lasting. It goes without saying that I also didn’t want to break the bank. I shopped smart and can say that I am the happiest I’ve ever been with my wardrobe. In fact, I don’t have a lot of mornings where I’m wondering what to wear. Almost everything I’ve added to my closet can be mixed with things that I already have. It all works together, and that makes me extremely happy.
Turns out, there was one part of my wardrobe that I’ve been neglecting. And that is the part that actually isn’t seen. That’s right, I’m talking about my underwear. This is going to be a little embarrassing to admit, but there have been a couple outfit photos that I’ve deleted because things weren’t looking quite right (if you catch my drift). A bump here, a lump there, and all of a sudden I realized that my underwear needed an upgrade.
The thing is, I also didn’t want to break the bank. I want to approach my underwear “wardrobe” the same way I did my clothes. I need everything to be practical, perfect for everyday use, and it needs to last. Gone are the days of my cheap (in quality and price) underwear that needs to be replaced every year. I need affordable and quality-made pieces.
I was recently sent some pieces from ThirdLove to review, and I am so excited about them! I have started building an awesome underwear wardrobe. For my first couple items, I have their Everything Bra. It can literally be any type of bra you could possibly need. It comes with two strap options. One set of straps is their luxe pleated (how gorgeous are they??), and the other set is clear. This particular bra also features push-up cups, silicone lining, and side boning. This bra isn’t going anywhere. It feels so comfortable all day long! I have literally never had a bra this nice.
As for bottoms, I went with their Microfiber Cheeky. My only requirements for underwear are comfort, it can’t cling to my clothes, and it has to be soft. This pair of underwear meets all of those! There is one bonus, though. I don’t have panty lines at all with these. No vpl here!
I haven’t decided what I’ll be adding next to my underwear drawer. I was thinking something like the Evolve Push-Up would be nice, because I’ve never seen a front closure bra with an adjustable back band. I also want to try their Lace Boyshorts. I love the vintage aesthetic, and I would love to know if the lace is soft. I feel like this is a really great start to my underwear wardrobe. I am excited to add new items to it as I go!
