I was provided these products to review, via Brandbacker. InstaNaturals provided me with a coupon code to purchase them on Amazon at not cost to me. All opinons are, and always will be, 100% my own.
For the majority of my life, I’ve had “bad” skin. Acne is no stranger to me, and my pale skin is easily scarred by them. The thing is, I never really had “bad” skin, I had bad skin care. My skin was so oily that I thought it needed to be dried out. What I didn’t know was that my skin was dry, hence it was over-producing oil. Once I understood that, it was easy to correct the problem. Pile on the moisture!
At that point, I went on a skin care overhaul. When I started adding more moisture to my skin, my acne started to go away. The scars even started to fade. Well, you know how when people exercise they hit a plateau and they have a hard time continuing to lose weight? I hit a sort of skin care plateau. My skin was improving, but at some point I was still breaking out no matter what I did.
I but you can guess what the answer was. Yup, even more moisture! This time, it was in the form of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid can hold 1000 times its weight in moisture. When worn under your moisturizer or face cream, it attracts even more moisture to your skin. Basically, it makes your moisturizer work better.
Now, my skin only breaks out due to hormones, bad diet, or stress. These are things I can mostly control, so my skin has been looking so good lately.
But enough about me, on to the reviews!
These are the most recent skin care products I’ve tested out. These are all (obviously) from Instanatural. These are the Premium Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Serum, the Youth Express Eye Gel, and the Pore Tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner.
My favorite product of the three is the serum. I try a lot of different skin care products. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s best to try products when my skin isn’t going through a break out. When these products came in the mail, I was going through a horrible break out. It was completely diet related (totally my fault. holidays=sweets=zits). I really didn’t want to test these products while I was going through a break out. That particular zit fest was awful. No matter what I did, the whole situation (my face) got worse and worse.
One night, I decided to break out the serum even though it wasn’t the best possible conditions. I couldn’t believe how amazing my skin looked the next morning. In fact, within one day my spots were healing and I wasn’t breaking out anymore. The only spots I’ve had since then were hormone related. And even so, they were minimal and healed fast. I am EXTREMELY impressed with this serum.
I use this under my moisturizer or oil at night, and I use it under my moisturizer during the day. This is the first serum I’ve used that has felt light under my makeup. I absolutely love it!
At the same time, I’ve been using the toner and the eye gel. The eye gel is my second favorite product of the the three. My undereye area is very dry, and this gel keeps it hydrated. It doesn’t feel greasy and my makeup looks smoother. Also, the price per ounce is very affordable. You can get a 1 ounce eye cream at the drug store for the same price as this 1.7 ounce bottle. And this one works better!
The toner is in a spray bottle, which is my favorite way to apply toner. It contains vitamin C, which is an antioxidant. My skin always reacts well to vitamin C, as it makes my skin look refreshed and healthy. The only thing I didn’t care for was the actual spray bottle. Mine doesn’t spray quite evenly, but the actual product is amazing.
I very highly recommend all three of these products, especially if you have dry or dehydrated skin. I have seen such an improvement in my skin.
I hope you try them and love them as much as I do!
