I was sent the Instanaturals Retinol Moisture for review. All opinions are 100% my own.
This is always a favorite, but I’ve used it every day this month. Every time I get one of the Naked palettes out, I think “this one is my favorite.” So, I obviously can’t make my mind up about the three Naked palettes. However, this one is the most used of the three, so that’s saying something. My three favorite shades are the lightest ones. They’re perfect for every day.
Pacifica Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes
I always remove my makeup before I wash my skin. Usually, I use a cleanser twice, but I’ve been in the mood to use makeup wipes. These wipes are so nice! I saw them at Target. Of course, I had to get them because I love the scent of coconut. I do not use these to remove my eye makeup, because my eyes are so sensitive. I have a separate eye makeup remover. These wipes do an amazing job of removing my makeup, but they’re also very soft and feel good on my skin.
Instanaturals Retinol Moisturizer
I’ve been trying this new moisturizer for a few weeks, and I have enjoyed it a lot. This is the first time I’ve dipped my toe into the a retinol treatment. Retinol is another name for Vitamin A. Basically, Vitamin A tells your cells to behave younger. It makes them more flexible. It is ideal for sun damaged skin, which is what I have. I had a lot of sun burns when I was younger, and I have a lot of hyper pigmentation on my face. I think I notice it more than other people do, but is something I’d like to “fix.” I am hoping that retinol will help. I am also trying the Instanaturals Retinol Serum. This moisturizer smells really good. It’s hydrating but sinks into the skin nicely. I use it at night, and my skin looks so clear when I wake up. I am super impressed with this. Hopefully it will make my skin look better as time goes on!
Ahh… another favorite. This has been a fave for years. I use this in the morning when my skin needs a little oomph. It cleanses and very gently exfoliates. It is definitely worth the price!
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Saga
This is the only Chanel makeup product that I have. I figured if I was spending $35 on a lipstick, it needed to be one I use every day. This is the perfect pinky, coral shade. It goes with everything, every single day. I also love the scent, which is slightly floral.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush
I bought a couple of these blushes the moment they were available on the Sephora website last year. π I love them!! This color is champagne rose, and I wore it nearly every day this month. These blushes have the ambient lighting powders in them. This particular blush is the Luminous Ambient Lighting Powder swirled with a rose blush. It is the perfect flush of color.
fresh Sugar Lip Polish (clear)
I’ve been using the fresh Sugar Lip Polishes for a long time. They are super hydrating and have a slightly sweet lemon scent that I love. This one is clear and I’ve been using it at night after I remove my makeup.
Lancome Cils Booster XL (link to newest version)
This is a mascara primer, and it’s amazing! You put this one under your mascara. It enhances whatever mascara you’re wearing. The link is to the newest version of it, which has been improved with lash conditioners. I am excited that Lancome will be having their gift with purchase soon, because I want to try the new version.
Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Supreme Mascara
I’ve been using up samples left and right lately. This month, I focused on a few mascara samples. I got this in a Birchbox last year. It’s super volumizing. You don’t have to work with it too much to see the volume in your lashes, and I love it!
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I picked this up at Harris Teeter a couple months ago and finally got around to using it. I know I keep saying I love everything in this post, but I love this sponge! It makes applying foundation so fast in the morning. You can use it wet or dry, and I prefer it wet. My makeup looks so smooth and skin-like when I apply it wet.
Christian Dior It-Lash Mascara
This is another mascara I was using up this month. It’s pretty amazing. It separates and lengthens my lashes like you wouldn’t believe. Paired with the Laura Mercier mascara, my lashes were looking pretty perfect this month.
I guess I had a thing for mascara this month. π Clinique had their gift with purchase event not too long ago, and I purchased this mascara again. It is perfect for the bottom lashes. It has never smudged on me!
Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Lotion
Another collection of samples I’ve been trying to use up is all the body lotions I have. I’ve been using them on my hands at night, and I’ve really been enjoying that! My hands have felt super hydrated this month, haha! π This one is from Gilchrist & Soames and it has the most perfect texture. It hydrates without feeling greasy, and the scent is so nice. Love!!
That’s it for my favorites this month! What have you been loving?
