Goodness gracious, I love Stitch Fix. When I purposed to thrift my clothes this year, I knew I didn’t want to eliminate my fixes from Stitch Fix. It’s a lot of fun, and it makes me happy to get a little box of clothes in the mail every month. I have decided to limit myself to one item per fix, otherwise I will be over my $60 budget every month. I hope I can stick to that!
Onto this month’s fix!
Olive & Oak Jessenia Tie Front Top, size M, $64
Sadly, this top didn’t fit. I could put it on, but it was tight across my chest. I also didn’t care for the tie front top, so I put that note in my fix review notes. If there is one suggestion I can give you, it’s to review your fixes with as much detail as possible! I let my stylist (and future stylists) know that I don’t like tie front tops.
Renee C Sandra Distressed Striped Sweater, size M, $68
I really, really liked this sweater. Hello, I love stripes and it was so cozy feeling. The distressed look on the shoulders and sides was pretty cool. I didn’t feel like this would be versatile enough to keep. I would wear this on the weekend, but I wouldn’t wear it work. I felt like $68 was too much to spend on a sweater I could only wear on the weekend. Otherwise, I really liked it and it fit well! I want to try other items from this brand.
Sweet Rain Berry Colorblock Sweater, size M, $38
The fabric of this sweater was so soft and comfy, but the cut was a little too short for me. It was actually high-low, although you can’t tell from the pictures. I love how it fit in the shoulders and sleeves. I think that the higher hem looks good, but I felt self-conscious moving around it. This got sent back, but I was a little sad about it.
Market & Spruce Elissa French Terry Striped Moto Jacket, size M, $74
Gilli Lyla Skirt, size L, $54
I was excited to try another moto jacket, as the last one I tried was to tight across my middle. This fit really well un-zipped. When it was zipped, it looked a little tight but, honestly, I rarely zip or button my jackets anyway. The sleeves and shoulders fit very well and the fabric was comfortable. I decided to send this one back, because it would put me over budget.
So, I’ve been looking for the perfect gray skirt forever. You would be surprised that it’s hard to find solid-colored skirts. I find print skirts all the time. Solid skirts? Just a bit harder. This is so nice and I can style it a million different ways. It’s a great length, comfortable fabric, and has a comfortable waist band. This is the item I kept from this month’s box!
