For today’s Makeup Monday, I filmed a review and demo of the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25H Foundation with Comfort Serum (say that five times fast!).
This foundation replaces Rimmel’s previous Lasting Finish Foundation. I have tried that foundation and found it to have nice coverage but way too matte for me. This new formulation of Lasting Finish with Comfort Serum has the same amount of coverage but with a satin finish. It covers redness and spots well, although I do need an extra layer and a little concealer on very red areas.
It lasts all day with a primer. Without a primer, you can glimpse at some oil peeking through in my t-zone. The lightest shade, which I have (Ivory), is ever so slightly too dark for me, but with lots of blending it looks fine. It will be the perfect shade during the summer.
If you’d like to see how I apply it (especially how it covers zits #skinproblems), watch the video below!
ETA: I say in the video that I haven’t been able to find the Sonia Kashuk brush, but my Target just stocked more last week! If you’re interested in the brush (it’s the Sonia Kashuk no. 130), you might want to pick it up now. It must be popular!
Linking up with Molly and Carly.
