It’s that time of year — time to share my favorite beauty products from 2015! I wish I could include every single favorite product from the entire year, but that post would be a mile long. So, these are the big highlights from this year.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24h Makeup
I can’t remember when I purchased this foundation. It might have been earlier this year or the end of last year. I kept it hid away until I finished some other foundations. When I cracked this open, I absolutely loved it. And I still do! It’s pricey, but it does what I expect an expensive foundation to do. It looks great on my skin (I always get compliments when I wear this), it lasts all day, and it’s easy to apply. It just smooths on my skin like it was made for me. Another bonus with this foundation is that I don’t need to powder it. In fact, I made the ‘mistake’ of powdering it the first time I wore it. The finish it matte, so you most likely will not need to use powder over it.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal
The product in the photo is actually a sample, but I recently bought the shimmering skin perfector in powder and liqud highlighter form. I love this product so much! I started mixing it with my Lancome foundation and it’s the perfect amount of glow. Since the foundation is matte, this adds a gorgeous amount of glow without being shiny. This is also beautiful over foundation as a highlighter on the cheek bones.
A few months ago, I had run out of my regular concealer. I was at the drugstore and saw this. Since I love Revlon’s face products so much, I thought this would be a winner. And it has been! I use this under my eyes. It has a medium amount of coverage and it stays on until the end of my work day.
L’Oreal Infalllible Pro-Matte Powder
This has been my absolutely favorite powder of the year. It sets my foundation perfectly, and it keeps the shine away until the afternoon (which is pretty long for my combination/oily skin!). I really can’t anything better about this. It is the best powder that I’ve used from the drugstore.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Empowered
I’ve rated about the Tarte blushes before, so it’s not surprise that I’ve been using this for months. This is a great pink blush for every day, but you can build it up to be even brighter than it looks in the pan. You really can’t go wrong with the Tarte blushes, because there’s a wide range of colors and they last on your cheeks all day long. They are amazing!
There have been so many nude eyeshadow palettes come out in the drugstores. I’ve purchased nearly all of them. I’m working my way through them and trying them all. This one has stood out among the rest. It has the most eyeshadows out of all the palettes I’ve purchased from the drugstore. This is just one of the L’Oreal palettes. I believe there are four, and this is one of the original two. I’ve used this quite a bit, and you can create a variety of looks with it. If you can catch them on sale, like I did, it’s even better!
Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette
When the first Urban Decay Naked Basics palette came out, I was less than impressed. I thought the colors were all too similar. When this one came out, I knew I had to try it. This palette has a better color selection. I even use this palette with other eyeshadows. My two favorite colors from this palette are Skimp and Cover. They are my go-to shades when I’m rushing in the morning. And, of course, Urban Decay’s eyeshadows are very high quality. That goes without saying!
E.L.F. Thick Tip Intense Eyeliner
This is a new-to-me eyeliner, and it’s AMAZING. This was sent to me by E.L.F., and I instantly fell in love with it. I thought the thick marker-like tip would make it hard to apply, but it’s just the opposite. If you like to do winged eyeliner and dislike how long it takes to apply, this is for you! I can line both of my eyes so fast. This is definitely a holy grail product.
Please forgive me for including such an expensive product in my favorites, but this is seriously my favorite mascara of the entire year. I got a sample of this in a Sephora order. When that sample ran out, I bought the full size from Sephora. This mascara is volumizing and curling. My lashes are so straight, and they don’t stay curled at all. This mascara gives them a ton of lift, definition, and volume. You also don’t have to work with it a lot for your lashes to look amazing. I love this stuff!
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick
This another ‘favorite of all time’ product. I have started quite the collection of Bite Beauty lip products, which is why I took a picture of the box for their Luminous Creme Lipstick. I have Fig, Pomegranate, Zin, and Tannin. I also have one of the little double-ended lipsticks and a set of mini Matte Lip Crayons. All of their products are made with food-grade ingredients, and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. The formulas are creamy and non-drying. I recommend them to everyone!
Well, that is it for my favorites of 2015. This doesn’t nearly encompass all the products I tried in 2015, these are the highest of the highlights.
